Hélène and Jérémy are delighted to welcome you to their family-run Campsite, located in the heart of the countryside just a stone’s throw from Challans in the Vendée. Here, calm and conviviality are the order of the day, offering you a rejuvenating stay far from the hustle and bustle.
With 134 pitches spread across two separate areas, Camping Les Charmes welcomes you to a lush, green setting designed to cater to a variety of holiday needs.
The holiday park features 59 pitches for holidaymakers, including 2 mobile homes accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM). You’ll enjoy a calm, friendly, family-oriented atmosphere, ideal for recharging your batteries with your family, as a couple or with friends.
The second area is entirely dedicated to accommodating workers on the move, students and guests staying for medium-term stays. This arrangement ensures that everyone can enjoy an environment tailored to their needs, whilst maintaining peace and comfort for all.
We are constantly improving our facilities and services to offer you the best possible experience and excellent value for money.

Looking for a tasty meal or a quick snack? Our snack bar in the heart of the Vendée is open every day for lunch and dinner (July/August), and offers a varied menu to eat in or take away. To get your day off to a good start, we also offer a fresh bread and pastries ordering service.
If you’re dreaming of a moment of relaxation, don’t hesitate to discover our private Zen area, equipped with a Jacuzzi and sauna, bookable for a wellness break in complete tranquillity.

At our Campsite near Challans in the Vendée, enjoy a heated indoor swimming pool, open from the April to October vacations. For your comfort, the water temperature is guaranteed to be at least 28°C from May 1 to September 30, so you can swim whatever the weather.
The little ones can have fun in complete safety in the paddling pool, and access to the aquatic area is secured by a childproof lock. You can also relax on the large indoor and outdoor beach with deckchairs, ideal for making the most of your vacation in Vendée.

Our campsite offers a variety of comfortable accommodation options to suit all tastes. We have 30 pitch-only spaces, 4 mobile homes or tents without en-suite facilities, 30 holiday rentals with terraces (1, 2 or 3 bedrooms) and 70 rentals for monthly stays, all of which are available, preferably by booking in advance.
For an authentic holiday experience, why not stay on one of our 25 spacious pitches (ranging from 100 m² to over 180 m²), which are ideal for accommodating two or three tents on a single pitch, with space for your car as well.
Prefer the comfort of fully-equipped accommodation? We offer wooden chalets and mobile homes for rent, including two mobile homes suitable for disabled people.
Available all year round, our holiday rentals can be booked by the week, by the night or by the month, offering maximum flexibility to suit your needs. Some properties also allow for a flexible check-in time, giving you even more flexibility when planning your stay.

To facilitate the organization of your event, we also offer rental accommodation or pitches, enabling your guests to stay on site and enjoy the event to the full without transport constraints.
We also rent out our hall for seminars and business meetings, offering a calm environment conducive to concentration, with all the facilities you need for your corporate events. Combine work and relaxation in a natural and friendly setting!

The Vendée is full of treasures to discover, and our Campsite is the ideal starting point for your adventures. Enjoy a whole host of activities: sandy beaches, hiking trails or bike paths to explore nature. Visit the must-see sites in Vendée, such as the famous Puy du Fou, which plunges you into history with its grandiose shows. For thrill-seekers, there are plenty of amusement parks in the Vendée.
Don’t miss O’Gliss Parc and O’Fun Parc, water and adventure parks for the whole family. Nature lovers can enjoy the Grand Défi and its accrobranches courses. Nearby, the magnificent Château d’Apremont and the peaceful Lac d’Apremont offers moments of relaxation and discovery.
The Vendée is also a region rich in history, notably marked by the Vendée War. You can discover this period through sites such as the Maison de la Vie Rurale and the Mémorial de la Vendée, which bear witness to this historical legacy.

How far is the Campsite from the beach?
The nearest beaches to our Campsite are just 25 minutes away by car. You can relax on the magnificent Sion beach, ideal for moments of peace and quiet, or enjoy the bustle of the large beach at Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, a perfect place for lovers of swimming and seaside leisure activities. If you’d like to discover other seaside resorts, don’t miss Saint Jean de Monts, 30 minutes away, and Les Sables d’Olonnes, 45 minutes away.
In summer, you can enjoy the beach at the magnificent Lac d’Apremont, just 5 minutes from the Campsite.. The lake offers a beach with swimming, inflatable water structures and a yacht club. You can also rent rowing and pedal boats at Le Cabanon, and fish for carp along 9.5 km of shoreline.
Are sheets and towels included?
Sheets and towels are not provided in the accommodation, but can be rented for €9 per bed for a complete kit (fitted sheets, pillowcases and comforter cover) and €6 per person for towels (1 large and 1 small). Pillows and comforters are included in the basic price. Don’t hesitate to reserve your bedding and/or towel kit when you make your Booking, for added comfort during your stay.
Is it possible to arrive outside reception opening hours?
Reception is open until 5:30 p.m. in Low season and until 7 p.m. in High season. If you plan to arrive after these times, please inform us in advance. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, please call us as soon as you arrive. We’ll do our best to get you to your accommodation as quickly as possible.
Is the Swimming pool open and heated in Low season?
Yes, the Swimming pool is open and heated from the April to the October vacations. Between the beginning of May and the end of September, we guarantee a minimum temperature of 28°C. Outside this period, the water temperature may vary according to weather conditions, especially on cool nights, making it more difficult to maintain 28°C.
Can you walk to a supermarket?
A small grocery store is available on the Campsite for your immediate needs. For more substantial shopping, you can drive or cycle to the center of Apremont, 4 km away, where there’s a small mini-market. If you’d prefer a larger store, there are a number of major retailers just 10 minutes away in Aizenay.
